Who we are

SMPE Limited (“SMPE”, “we”) is a commodity trading company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website and how we use it.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your message, and we send a one-time code to that email address to confirm it before the enquiry is delivered. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, to carry out know-your-customer and sanctions screening before entering into any commercial relationship, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for marketing without consent.

Who we share it with

The desk that handles your enquiry, our email and hosting providers, and, where required for screening, compliance data providers and regulators. Transfers outside the UAE are made only with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and, where a commercial relationship follows, for the retention period required by applicable law.

Your rights

You may ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its processing, through the contact form; quote your enquiry reference if you have one.
