The trading model is the one we run in oil and metals: source from the manufacturer, take title, finance the shipment and deliver to the buyer’s specification and date.
What changes is the paperwork and the handling. Each consignment travels with its batch records and certificates of analysis, its registration status is checked against the destination market before it ships, and temperature-sensitive products move only through carriers that can hold the cold chain.
